Using our JavaScript API for Push, you can insert a piece of code (JavaScript) in your website to define a push notification, which can be shown after your app was closed (while scheduling it during the app is open). This works without the OneSignal configuration at all. So for most cases, it’s recommended to use remote push APIs (like OneSignal).
