Why, even when receiving a OneSignal notification, the app does not show / not increase the number of notifications / notification badge / notification count badge / counting badge on the app icon?

Normally, the OneSignal SDK automatically sets the notification badge count on your app to the number of notifications that are currently active. Is the notification badge turned on?

Moreover, try increasing the badge count with these steps, please: https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/badges#ios-badges If you use the OneSignal API (instead of the OneSignal.com backend), you might have to attach the badge count manually, too.
