Base44 + app-only UI
The website needs a cookie banner, a footer with 30 links and a "Download our app" badge. The app needs none of them. WebViewGold injects a <code>custom.css</code> and <code>custom.js</code> file into every page your Base44 app loads inside the app, so the website stays untouched and the app looks like an app.
From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.
Cookie banners, store badges, newsletter pop-ups, desktop navigation, the "Edit with …" builder badge. One CSS rule each in custom.css.
Bigger tap targets, safe-area padding for fixed bars, a bottom navigation (or WebViewGold's native navigation footer), hidden page titles that the app bar already shows.
Rewrite external links to open in the in-app browser, call successhaptic:// after form submits, hide the web checkout for digital goods and show the IAP button instead.
Paste this into Base44 to implement the web-app side. Review the result, publish, then test inside the WebViewGold app.
Make this app look and behave like a native app when it runs inside our mobile wrapper (detected by navigator.userAgent containing "WebViewGold"). 1) Add a helper isNativeApp() and use it to hide the marketing top bar, footer links, cookie notice and any "Made with" element; give those elements the class web-only as well. 2) On screens narrower than 768px, replace the sidebar navigation in the layout with a fixed bottom tab bar showing the four main pages with icons and labels, padding-bottom set to env(safe-area-inset-bottom), and add bottom padding to page content so nothing is covered. 3) Keep the desktop layout unchanged for browser users. 4) Make page transitions instant, without full reloads.

With a good optimized version of your web app you can have a stunning mobile app within a couple of minutes. Additionally to that the customer service is very nice and very helpful! I can just recommend WebViewGold :-)
Pick the one that matches how you work.
Edit the two files in the Xcode and Android Studio projects (or the Cloud Builder fields). They are injected into every page. No deploy of your web app needed; a new app build ships the change.
Set a custom user agent in Config.swift / Config.java (for example append "WebViewGold"), then add a body class in your web app when it is detected and style .in-app variants in your normal stylesheet. Changes ship with every publish, no app update.
Use the user-agent class for things that change often (navigation, promotions) and custom.css for one-time clean-ups of elements you cannot easily change in the builder.
Open the app on an iPhone and an Android phone, in portrait and landscape, and on an iPad: no desktop header, no horizontal scroll, nothing under the notch.
Adjust the selectors to your Base44 markup:
/* website-only elements */
#cookie-banner, .newsletter-popup, .app-store-badges, #lovable-badge, a[href*="lovable.dev"] { display: none !important; }
/* desktop navigation and footer links */
header .desktop-nav, footer .link-columns { display: none !important; }
/* safe area for fixed bars */
.bottom-bar { padding-bottom: env(safe-area-inset-bottom); }
/* comfortable tap targets */
button, .btn, a.nav-item { min-height: 44px; }No. It is injected only inside the app. Visitors in Safari or Chrome see the site as before.
Yes, custom.js runs on every page load inside the app. Keep it small and defensive: pages of your Base44 app may load before or after your script depending on the framework.
For changes in custom.css, yes (it ships with the app). If you want instant changes, use the user-agent detection in your web app instead.
Same result, different amount of work on your side. All three come with the approval guarantee and 24/7 human support.
