AI coding agents

From AI coding agent to App Store: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and friends

If an agent writes your code, let it do the store-readiness work too. These guides contain the prompts, project files (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, Cursor rules) and the WebViewGold JavaScript bridge reference that turn an agent-built web app into native iOS and Android apps.

From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.

Give your agent the WebViewGold documentation

WebViewGold publishes llms.txt, the complete documentation as llms-full.txt and an agent manifest at webmcp.json. Paste this into your agent before it touches native features:

text
Read https://www.webviewgold.com/llms-full.txt before making changes. This web app will run inside the WebViewGold native WebView wrapper on iOS and Android. Use only the URL schemes and JavaScript variables documented there (for example registerpush://, sendlocalpushmsg://, bioauth://, qrcode://, shareapp://, revenuecat://purchase), detect the app via the custom user agent, and keep every fallback working in normal browsers.

Frequently asked questions

Which agent is best for building store-ready web apps?

Any of them. Claude Code, Codex and Cursor all read the WebViewGold documentation and apply the same changes: responsive layout, privacy pages, account deletion, error states, and the JavaScript bridge calls for native features. The guides differ in the project files (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, Cursor rules) and in how you hand over context.

Can the agent also configure the native WebViewGold project?

Yes, within limits. Config.swift and Config.java are plain settings files the agent can edit (URL, name, bundle ID, feature switches, permission strings). Signing, certificates and the store consoles stay manual, or you use the Cloud Builder or the Full Service for that part.

Does Apple or Google care that an AI wrote the code?

No. The stores review behavior, completeness, privacy and payments. Agent-built apps pass when they meet the same rules as any other app; the rejection library on this site covers every common reason.

Three ways to get your app into the stores
