The paperwork around a store submission is writing, and ChatGPT is good at writing. The catch: every sentence becomes a claim that Apple and Google check against the real app. This guide gives you the prompts, the questionnaire mapping and the short list of things you must verify yourself.
From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.
A privacy policy written from a vague description is a privacy policy about a different app. Start with a facts sheet: which third-party services receive user data, which fields you store, how users log in, how they pay, which push provider the WebViewGold app uses, whether prompts go to OpenAI or Google, whether the web app asks for location or camera. If the code is in a repository, Codex produces this list in minutes and cites the files; if you built in ChatGPT only, write it by hand from your dashboards.
With the facts sheet, ChatGPT writes a policy that matches reality, and the same sheet answers Apple's App Privacy questionnaire and Google's Data safety form consistently. Inconsistency between the three is what reviewers catch.
Scan this codebase and write FACTS.md with evidence for each item (file and line): 1) every third-party service that receives user data, with what it receives (database, auth, email, analytics, error tracking, AI providers and exactly what is sent to them, payments, push notifications); 2) every field we store about a user; 3) login methods; 4) payment methods and what is sold; 5) whether we use location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos and why; 6) whether we show ads; 7) data retention and deletion paths; 8) the app's main features in one sentence each. Do not guess. If something is unclear, list it under Open questions.
Write a privacy policy for a mobile app and web app named [APP NAME] by [COMPANY, ADDRESS, EMAIL], based only on the attached FACTS.md. The app is published in the Apple App Store and on Google Play as a native app that loads our web app; push notifications are delivered through [OneSignal / Firebase / Pushwoosh], which receives a device token. Structure: who we are; what data we collect and why (one subsection per category); third parties that process data (name each service and what it receives); legal bases under GDPR for EU users; retention periods; how to delete the account and data (in-app under Settings and via [URL]); children (the app is not directed at children under 13); your rights and contact; last updated date. Plain English, short paragraphs, no marketing language. Do not add any processing that is not in FACTS.md.

Great way of converting your web app to a native app! Fast turn-around, and a great way to get your apps into the app stores without the need to develop a full native app!
| Fact from the sheet | Apple App Privacy | Google Data safety |
|---|---|---|
| Users sign up with email | Contact Info → Email Address, linked to the user | Personal info → Email address, collected, required |
| Push notifications via OneSignal, Firebase or Pushwoosh | Identifiers → Device ID; usually not linked to the user | Device or other IDs, collected, shared with the push provider |
| Analytics (Plausible, GA, PostHog…) | Usage Data → Product Interaction | App activity → App interactions; shared if a third party processes it |
| Chat messages sent to OpenAI or Gemini | User Content → Other User Content, linked to the user | Messages → Other in-app messages, shared with the AI provider |
| Purchases via RevenueCat (in-app purchase) | Purchases → Purchase History | Financial info → Purchase history |
| Crash reporting | Diagnostics → Crash Data | App info and performance → Crash logs |
| Web app asks for location | Location → Precise or Coarse | Location → Approximate or Precise |
Ask for both forms at once so they agree. Then click through the real forms yourself; the wording changes over time.
Using FACTS.md, prepare my answers for Apple's App Privacy questionnaire in App Store Connect and Google Play's Data safety form. For Apple: list each data type we collect, whether it is linked to the user's identity, and whether it is used for tracking (we do not use ad networks: [yes/no]). For Google: list each data type, whether it is collected or shared, whether collection is optional, the purpose, and confirm encryption in transit and that users can request deletion. Flag any item where the two forms would disagree and explain which answer is correct.
Give it the real feature list and the limits: Apple name 30 characters, subtitle 30, keyword field 100, description 4,000; Google title 30, short description 80, full description 4,000.
Write the store listing for [APP NAME], a [one-sentence description] for [audience]. Features that exist today: [list]. Native app features: push notifications for [what], works offline for [what], [Face ID login / share sheet / QR scanner]. Produce: 1) Apple subtitle (max 30 characters); 2) Apple promotional text (max 170 characters); 3) Apple description (first two sentences must stand alone, max 4,000 characters); 4) a comma-separated keyword list of at most 100 characters, no spaces after commas, no duplicates of words in the name or subtitle, no competitor names; 5) Google short description (max 80 characters); 6) Google full description with short paragraphs; 7) release notes for version 1.0 in two sentences. Do not mention other platforms, beta, prices, awards or features that are not in the list. Do not use the words best, number one or revolutionary.
Reviewers read the notes first. Keep them factual; the review notes template shows the full structure.
Write App Review notes (max 4,000 characters) for [APP NAME]. Include: what the app does in two sentences; demo account (email: [demo@…], password: [password]) and what the reviewer will see after login; where to find the native features (push notifications: when they are sent; offline behavior; Face ID; in-app purchase with a sandbox product); where the privacy policy and account deletion are in the app; a note that the app uses a native wrapper with push notifications, an offline mode and native sharing on top of our web application. Plain language, bullet points, no marketing.
Metadata rejections are the easiest to avoid and the most embarrassing to get.
It is a strong draft that both stores accept when it describes the real app. For regulated data (health, finance, children) or EU-wide products, have a lawyer review it; the prompt above produces the structure a lawyer expects.
No, the forms are clicked by hand in the console. ChatGPT prepares the answers; you transfer them and re-read each question, since the wording changes.
As a route in your web app (/privacy) so it opens inside the WebViewGold app and on the web. Enter that URL in both consoles and link it from the settings screen.
No. One policy covering the web app and both native apps is normal; mention the push provider and the stores' payment systems, which are the only platform-specific processors.
Same result, different amount of work on your side. All three come with the approval guarantee and 24/7 human support.
