Your Replit app probably charges through Stripe. On the web that stays. Inside the iOS app, Apple requires In-App Purchase for digital goods (Guideline 3.1.1), and Google Play Billing applies on Android. WebViewGold handles both through RevenueCat with one URL call from your web app.
From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.
| What you sell | In the iOS app | In the Android app | On the web |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions, credits, premium features, digital content | In-App Purchase (RevenueCat) | Google Play Billing (RevenueCat) | Stripe |
| Physical goods, deliveries, tickets, bookings, services performed outside the app | Your web checkout is fine | Your web checkout is fine | Stripe |
| Reader-type content purchased elsewhere | May be consumed without IAP, with no purchase links in the app | Allowed with restrictions | Stripe |
Paste this into Replit to implement the web-app side. Review the result, publish, then test inside the WebViewGold app.
Add store in-app purchases to this Replit app for the WebViewGold wrapper. In the React front end, when navigator.userAgent contains my custom WebViewGold token, hide the Stripe checkout and show a Subscribe button that navigates to revenuecat://purchase?external_id=USER_ID&product=pro_monthly using the Replit Auth user id, plus a Restore purchases link that navigates to restoreinapppurchases://. In the backend add POST /api/webhooks/revenuecat that verifies the Authorization header against the REVENUECAT_WEBHOOK_SECRET secret, reads app_user_id and type from the event and upserts a subscriptions row with status and expires_at. Expose GET /api/me/plan and gate premium features on it. Do not show web prices or external payment links inside the app.

I am very happy I bought this app! Extremely easy and great documentation. Was in contact with the customer service, they replied very quickly and very friendly. They solved my question within a day. 10/10 would recommend.
RevenueCat is free up to a monthly revenue threshold and syncs both stores.
Define your subscription or one-time product with identical identifiers on both stores (for example pro_monthly). Apple requires the Paid Apps agreement signed by the account holder.
Create a RevenueCat project, add the iOS and Android apps, paste the store credentials and define an Offering with your products. Optionally design a native paywall in the RevenueCat dashboard.
Paste the RevenueCat API key into Config.swift and Config.java (or the Cloud Builder). Done on the native side.
Navigate to revenuecat://purchase?external_id=USER_ID&product=pro_monthly from your upgrade button, or show the native paywall with revenuecat://launchPaywall?external_id=USER_ID&offering=default. Use the user ID from Express/Flask/FastAPI backends with Replit Postgres or external databases as external_id.
Point a RevenueCat webhook at Express/Flask/FastAPI backends with Replit Postgres or external databases and set the user's plan when a purchase or renewal event arrives. Your web app then shows the premium features exactly as it does for Stripe customers.
Detect the app via the custom user agent WebViewGold sends and show the IAP button instead of the web checkout. Apple rejects apps that link out to external payment pages for digital goods.
restoreinapppurchases://); show a "Restore purchases" link in your settings.Yes. The web stays as it is. Only purchases made inside the iOS and Android apps go through the stores. Many apps run both: Stripe on the web, IAP in the apps, with one plan field in the database.
Apple and Google take 15 percent for most small developers (under $1 million per year through the Small Business Program / 15 percent tier) and 30 percent above that. The price difference is usually worth the reach of the stores.
Yes. Consumable in-app purchases are made for credits. Define the consumable in both stores, map it in RevenueCat and add the credits in Express/Flask/FastAPI backends with Replit Postgres or external databases on the webhook event.
No. You can keep your own pricing page inside the web app and just call revenuecat://purchase from the buy button. The native RevenueCat paywall is optional and can be A/B tested from the dashboard.
Same result, different amount of work on your side. All three come with the approval guarantee and 24/7 human support.
