One codebase, real store app
The iOS app loads your published Replit URL inside a native WebView. There is no second project to maintain and no code export.
Replit → App Store
Replit keeps the backend running. WebViewGold puts the app in your users' pockets. Your Replit app already runs in the browser. WebViewGold wraps the published URL in a native iOS app shell, adds push notifications and other native features, and backs the submission with an App Store approval guarantee. You keep building in Replit; every publish updates the app instantly.
From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.
A Replit app is a running server (Express, Flask or FastAPI with Replit Postgres) behind an Autoscale or Reserved VM deployment, and a native rewrite would mean re-implementing that API surface on two more platforms. WebViewGold wraps the deployment URL, so Replit Auth, your database and every redeploy stay exactly where they are. Pair it with the WebViewGold splash screen and loading indicator so a cold start after scale-to-zero never looks like a frozen app in review.

Redeploy and the app shows the new version instantly. Only changes to the native shell itself (icon, new native feature) need a store update.
Push notifications, offline screen, native sharing, biometric login, QR scanner, in-app purchases and deep links are single settings or one-line JavaScript calls.
Apple App Store approval guarantee – or your money back within 14 days. 96.4% of all WebViewGold apps get approved by the review teams on the first attempt.

Great way of converting your web app to a native app! Fast turn-around, and a great way to get your apps into the app stores without the need to develop a full native app!
Eight steps, no coding. Most people finish the native part in under an hour.
Open the Deploy pane and choose Autoscale (web apps with a backend), Static (front-end only) or Reserved VM. Replit builds the app and serves it at a replit.app address. Redeploy to push changes live. The development preview (replit.dev addresses) sleeps when you close the workspace and is not meant for users. Always use a Deployment URL in the app. Custom domain: In the deployment's Settings → Domains, link your own domain and add the DNS records Replit shows. See why a custom domain before submission is worth it.
Add a privacy policy page, an account deletion option (if users can sign up), and remove builder badges or "download our app" banners. Run the free App Store readiness check on your URL: it flags mixed content, missing viewport tags, builder preview domains and other blockers in seconds.
One-time payment, free updates. You receive the ready-made Xcode project. If you do not own a Mac, activate the WebViewGold Cloud Builder and do everything in the browser.
Open Config.swift (or the Cloud Builder form) and paste your published URL. Set the app name, upload your icon, pick splash screen and status bar color. No coding needed.
Enable push notifications, the offline screen, social-login handling, pull-to-refresh, biometric login or the QR scanner with single settings. Everything is optional.
In Xcode: Product → Archive → Distribute to App Store Connect. In the Cloud Builder: click Build, the upload to App Store Connect is done for you.
In App Store Connect add name, subtitle, description, keywords, screenshots, privacy policy URL and the App Privacy answers. Add a demo account in the review notes if needed.
Apple reviews most apps within 24 to 48 hours. Answer reviewer questions in Resolution Center if any come up. Our approval guarantee covers you.
These are the points that come up most often with Replit projects (Often React + Express/Node or Python (Flask/FastAPI) with Replit's built-in Postgres (Neon) and Replit Auth).
Paste this into Replit and let it apply the changes reviewers look for. Review the result, then publish.
Prepare this app for publishing as a native iOS and Android app (it will run inside a native WebView wrapper): 1. Add /privacy and /terms pages with editable placeholder text, linked from the footer and the settings page. 2. Add a "Delete account" action in settings that deletes the user's data and auth record, with a confirmation dialog. 3. Make every page responsive from 320px to tablet widths with no horizontal scrolling; tap targets at least 44px. 4. Remove any "Made with Replit" footer, "Get the app" banners and external links in the main navigation. 5. Show a retry message when a request fails instead of an empty page, and make the first paint fast (lazy-load heavy components). 6. Set the <title> to the app name (max 30 characters) and add a meta description.
Apple reviews behavior, not tooling. Nobody is rejected for using Replit; apps are rejected for the points below.
The app must offer more than a repackaged website. Responsive layout, native navigation and at least one native capability (push notifications, offline screen, native sharing, biometric login) make the difference. WebViewGold switches these on with one setting each.
No placeholder content, no dead links, no crashes. If content sits behind a login, provide a demo account in the App Review notes.
A public privacy policy URL is mandatory. Apps that let users create accounts must also let them delete the account inside the app.
If the app uses Google, Facebook or another third-party or social login for the user's account, it must also offer an equivalent login that limits data to name and email, lets users keep their email private and does not track them for advertising. Sign in with Apple is the safe way to meet this. An app that only uses its own email/password login is not affected.
Digital goods and subscriptions sold inside the app must use Apple's In-App Purchase. Physical goods and real-world services can keep Stripe or PayPal.
Screenshots, description and app name must match what the app does. Do not mention other platforms or "beta" in the listing.
Every feature is optional and documented step by step in the WebViewGold for iOS documentation.
Remote push via OneSignal or Pushwoosh, local scheduled pushes via a JavaScript call, permission prompt at the moment you choose.
DocumentationGoogle and Facebook logins work inside the app; Sign in with Apple is handled automatically.
DocumentationLinks from emails (magic links, password resets) open directly in the app.
DocumentationApp Store subscriptions and one-time purchases via RevenueCat, triggered from your web app.
DocumentationA native "Try again" screen when the user is offline, or a local HTML fallback.
DocumentationKeep the launch screen until the web app is loaded, or show a native spinner.
DocumentationFace ID / Touch ID gate from a JavaScript call.
DocumentationNative scanner that returns the result to your web app.
DocumentationShare dialog and haptic feedback from your web app.
DocumentationHide website-only elements and inject code when loaded inside the app.
DocumentationEach guide shows the exact setup for your Replit stack, with a prompt you can paste.
Tick these off and the review is a formality. The free readiness check verifies the technical half automatically.
Say you asked Replit Agent for an app that lets food truck owners post where they are parked today, with a React front end, an Express API and Replit Postgres. You deploy on Autoscale, connect trucks.yourdomain.com and wrap it with WebViewGold, so customers can allow location access and see the closest trucks through the standard HTML5 geolocation API. Push notifications tell followers when their favorite truck opens nearby, which gives Apple and Google a clear reason the app is more than a website. You keep the splash screen on until the first data arrives, so a cold start never looks frozen in review. Both stores approve it, and owners never notice when you redeploy a fix at lunchtime.
A complete native app project, not a subscription. Everything below is included in the license and switched on with a setting.
Yes. Create a Replit Deployment, insert its URL (or your custom domain) into WebViewGold and build the native apps. Replit keeps hosting the backend; WebViewGold provides the store-ready shell.
Autoscale for apps with a backend, Static for pure front-ends. Reserved VM if you need always-on processes. The WebView does not care, it just needs a stable HTTPS URL.
No. Users get the new version on the next launch or navigation, exactly like a website visitor.
Not with the WebViewGold Cloud Builder: configuration, build and upload to App Store Connect happen in the browser. If you own a Mac, the Xcode project works out of the box.
Most submissions are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. First submissions and apps with logins sometimes get a question from the reviewer; answer it in Resolution Center and the review continues.
Rejections name the guideline and the reason, and you can resubmit as often as needed. WebViewGold comes with an App Store approval guarantee: if Apple rejects the app for a non-content reason, you get your money back within 14 days of purchase.
If you are starting from scratch and want a React Native app, it is an option. If your product already runs as a web app on a replit.app deployment, an Expo version is a second codebase with its own screens and release process, while WebViewGold wraps the deployment you already have and keeps updating with every redeploy.
The app loads your deployment URL, so if the deployment is paused or its billing lapses, users see WebViewGold's offline screen instead of your app. Keep the deployment active, watch your usage, and use a custom domain so you could move the backend to another host later without a new store build.
No. The app loads your published URL, so content and feature changes you publish in Replit are live in the app immediately. A new store version is only needed when the native shell changes, for example a new app icon or an added native feature.
