Anything → Google Play

Turn your Anything app into an Android app and publish it on Google Play

Published on created.app today. In the App Store and on Google Play without exporting a line. Your Anything app already runs in the browser. WebViewGold wraps the published URL in a native Android app shell, adds push notifications and other native features, and backs the submission with a Google Play approval guarantee. You keep building in Anything; every publish updates the app instantly.

From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.

  • Approval guarantee – or money back within 14 days
  • No coding needed
  • One-time payment, free updates

Why wrapping beats rebuilding for Anything apps

Anything hosts web apps on a created.app address, and its own App Store and Google Play route is for separate mobile projects built with Expo, so a finished web app would have to be rebuilt as a second app. Wrapping the published URL with WebViewGold gets you native iOS and Android projects without exporting code or starting over. The built-in database, user accounts and Stripe integration keep working, and every Publish in Anything is live in the app instantly. Add the WebViewGold loading indicator so the generated single-page app never shows a blank first paint in review.

One codebase, real store app

The Android app loads your published Anything URL inside a native WebView. There is no second project to maintain and no code export.

Keep shipping from Anything

Publish again and the app updates instantly. Only changes to the native shell itself (icon, new native feature) need a store update.

Native features on top

Push notifications, offline screen, native sharing, biometric login, QR scanner, in-app purchases and deep links are single settings or one-line JavaScript calls.

Google Play approval guarantee

Google Play Store approval guarantee – or your money back within 14 days. 96.4% of all WebViewGold apps get approved by the review teams on the first attempt.

What you need

  • A published Anything app on a public HTTPS URL (yourproject.created.app or, better, your own domain)
  • An Google Play Console developer account ($25 one-time) to submit to the Google Play Store

Anything to Google Play: the walkthrough

Eight steps, no coding. Most people finish the native part in under an hour.

  1. Publish your Anything app to a production URL

Click Publish in Anything, choose your created.app subdomain and the pages to include, then publish. The web app is live at yourproject.created.app, and every later Publish replaces the live version. The editor preview is not a public URL. Publish first and use the published address in the app. Custom domain: Buy a domain through Anything or connect one you already own in the publish dialog (Pro or Max plan); the automatic DNS setup configures the records for you, or you set them manually. See why a custom domain before submission is worth it.

  2. Make it store-ready

Add a privacy policy page, an account deletion option (if users can sign up), and remove builder badges or "download our app" banners. Run the free Google Play readiness check on your URL: it flags mixed content, missing viewport tags, builder preview domains and other blockers in seconds.

  3. Get WebViewGold for Android

One-time payment, free updates. You receive the ready-made Android Studio project, or activate the WebViewGold Cloud Builder and skip the IDE entirely.

  4. Insert your URL and brand the app

Open Config.java (or the Cloud Builder form), paste your published URL, set the app name, choose your package name, upload the icon and pick the splash screen. No coding needed.

  5. Switch on native features

Enable push notifications, the offline screen, pull-to-refresh, biometric login, the QR scanner or App Links with single settings. Everything is optional.

  6. Build the signed App Bundle

In Android Studio: Build → Generate Signed Bundle. In the Cloud Builder: click Build and the signed .aab is prepared and uploaded for you.

  7. Create the Play Console listing

Create the app in the Play Console, fill in the store listing, upload icon, feature graphic and screenshots, complete Data safety, content rating and app access.

  8. Test, then submit

New personal accounts run a 14-day closed test with 12 testers first. Then promote the release to production and submit for review. Our approval guarantee covers you.

Anything-specific checks before you submit

These are the points that come up most often with Anything projects (React web apps generated by Anything with its built-in database, user accounts and integrations).

  • Provide a demo login in the review notes if your app has no public screens.
  • Anything does not offer Sign in with Apple yet, and its own documentation advises against Google or Facebook login in iOS builds until it does (Guideline 4.8). Keep the iOS app to email and password, or hide the social buttons there with WebViewGold's custom CSS, and make sure users who signed up with Google can still get in, for example by setting a password.
  • Where you do show Google login, for example in the Android app, it needs WebViewGold's Social Login Helper.
  • Add a privacy policy page and an in-app account deletion option before you submit.
  • Turn on the WebViewGold loading indicator; generated single-page apps show a blank screen for a moment otherwise.
  • Made with Anything: Projects on the free plan show a "Made with Anything" badge and a paid plan removes it. Make sure it is gone before you build the app and take your store screenshots. More on builder badges.

Let Anything do the store-readiness work

Paste this into Anything and let it apply the changes reviewers look for. Review the result, then publish.

Prompt to paste into Anything
Prepare this app for publishing as a native iOS and Android app (it will run inside a native WebView wrapper): add /privacy and /terms pages linked from the footer; add a "Delete my account" action in settings with confirmation; make every screen responsive from 320px to tablet widths without horizontal scrolling and with 44px tap targets; remove any "Made with Anything" badge, external promotional links and "Download our app" banners; show a retry message when data fails to load; set the title to the app name (max 30 characters).

Google Play review: the rules that matter for Anything apps

Google reviews behavior, not tooling. Nobody is rejected for using Anything; apps are rejected for the points below.

  • Minimum functionality

    Spam and minimum functionality policy

Google rejects apps that only wrap a website without the website owner's permission or that offer no real functionality. Wrapping your own product with added native features is fine.

  • Data safety

    User Data policy

Every app needs a privacy policy URL and a completed Data safety form that lists what the app and its SDKs collect.

  • Account deletion

    User Data policy

Apps that let users create accounts must offer account deletion inside the app and via a web link you provide in the Play Console.

  • Testing requirement

    Personal developer accounts

Personal accounts created after November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 continuous days before they can request production access.

  • Target API level

    Target API requirements

New apps must target a recent Android version. WebViewGold updates keep the template current; just build with the latest version.

  • Payments

    Google Play Billing

Digital goods and subscriptions sold in the app generally must use Google Play Billing (WebViewGold supports RevenueCat). Physical goods and services may use other payment methods.

Native features your Anything app gets in the Android app

Every feature is optional and documented step by step in the WebViewGold for Android documentation.

Pre-flight checklist for Google Play

Tick these off and the review is a formality. The free readiness check verifies the technical half automatically.

  • HTTPS everywhere: Android blocks cleartext http:// traffic by default on current versions.
  • Responsive layout from 320 px to tablet widths, with predictable back-button behavior (WebViewGold maps the back button to the web history).
  • Privacy policy URL ready and the Data safety form answered truthfully.
  • Account deletion inside the app plus a web deletion link if users can sign up.
  • App access credentials for the reviewer if content is behind a login.
  • A unique package name (for example com.yourcompany.yourapp) set before the first upload: it can never change afterwards.
  • A 512 × 512 px icon and a 1024 × 500 px feature graphic.
  • At least two phone screenshots taken from the real app (tablet screenshots recommended).
  • For new personal accounts: 12 testers lined up for the 14-day closed test.
  • Signed Android App Bundle (.aab) built from the latest WebViewGold version.

Example: from Anything project to approved app

Say you built an AI meal planner with Anything: users enter their diet and budget, the app generates a week of recipes and a shopping list, and a Stripe paywall unlocks unlimited plans. You publish it, connect your domain and wrap it with WebViewGold, then show a RevenueCat subscription instead of the Stripe paywall whenever the page runs inside the apps. A report button under each generated plan covers Apple's Guideline 1.2 and Google's AI content policy, and a weekly local push reminds users to plan the week. The native share sheet lets them send the shopping list to a partner, a small touch reviewers notice. Both apps are approved, and every Publish in Anything updates them instantly.

Your first week after launch

  • Read the reports users file on generated content every day of launch week and tighten your prompt or filters where needed.
  • Publish prompt and UI fixes in Anything as usual; they reach the installed apps on next launch.
  • Keep the planning reminder to once a week; more frequent pushes get notifications switched off.
  • Compare RevenueCat purchases with Stripe web sales to see which channel converts better before you change prices.
  • Ask for a rating with rateapp:// after a user saves their second plan, not after the first one.

What you get with WebViewGold

A complete native app project, not a subscription. Everything below is included in the license and switched on with a setting.

  • Complete Android Studio project
  • Push notifications
  • Offline screen
  • App icon & splash screen
  • Share sheet & haptics
  • Deep & universal links
  • In-app purchases
  • Free updates, white-label

Frequently asked questions

Can I put an Anything app into the App Store?

Yes. Publish the web app in Anything, insert the published created.app URL or your custom domain into WebViewGold and submit the native build. The app keeps loading your Anything project, so updates stay instant.

Do I need the source code?

No. WebViewGold works with the published URL; you never export code.

Create is now called Anything. Does that change anything for my app?

Only the name. Published web apps are still served on created.app addresses or your custom domain, so a WebViewGold app that loads that URL keeps working without a new build. On the free plan the badge now reads "Made with Anything"; remove it with a paid plan before you take your store screenshots.

Do I need Android Studio?

Either Android Studio (free, runs on Windows, macOS and Linux) or the WebViewGold Cloud Builder, which builds and uploads the signed App Bundle from your browser.

What is the 12-tester rule?

Google requires personal developer accounts created after November 2023 to run a closed test with at least 12 opted-in testers for 14 continuous days before the first production release. Friends, colleagues or a Discord community are enough; organization accounts are exempt.

What if Google rejects the app?

Google names the policy in question and you can fix and resubmit. WebViewGold comes with a Google Play approval guarantee: if Google rejects the app for a non-content reason, you get your money back within 14 days of purchase.

Anything can submit Expo apps to the App Store itself. Do I still need WebViewGold?

Only if you want your existing web app in the stores. Anything's mobile output is a separate Expo (React Native) app, while WebViewGold wraps the web app you already published on created.app or your domain, so both platforms keep running from the one version you maintain. If you are starting a new mobile-first project, compare both; if the web app exists, wrapping is the shorter path.

I moved my app from Mocha to Anything. What do I change in my store app?

Mocha closed on August 1, 2026, so a store app that still loads a mocha.app address only shows WebViewGold's offline screen. After the import into Anything, test the app on its created.app address, connect your own domain and set up your own Google OAuth credentials (Mocha's shared Google login does not carry over), then put the new URL into Config.swift and Config.java and submit an update; your listing, ratings and users stay.

Do I have to resubmit the app every time I change something in Anything?

No. The app loads your published URL, so content and feature changes you publish in Anything are live in the app immediately. A new store version is only needed when the native shell changes, for example a new app icon or an added native feature.

What does it cost in total?
