One codebase, real store app
The iOS app loads your published Gemini CLI URL inside a native WebView. There is no second project to maintain and no code export.
Gemini CLI → App Store
Gemini CLI built and deployed it from your terminal. The App Store is one URL and one build away. Your Gemini CLI app already runs in the browser. WebViewGold wraps the published URL in a native iOS app shell, adds push notifications and other native features, and backs the submission with an App Store approval guarantee. You keep building in Gemini CLI; every publish updates the app instantly.
From $109 one-time per platform, or let our team do it all from $698.
A Gemini CLI project ends as a Firebase Hosting, App Hosting or Cloud Run deployment, so the last step of your workflow already produces the URL WebViewGold needs. Asking the agent for a Flutter or Kotlin port would mean a second codebase against the same Firestore data and Cloud Functions, and the Gemini key would move into an app binary where it does not belong. Wrapping the deployment keeps model calls on your server, keeps one codebase in GEMINI.md's care, and every new deploy reaches installed apps without a store review.
The iOS app loads your published Gemini CLI URL inside a native WebView. There is no second project to maintain and no code export.
Run your deploy command again and the app shows the new version on the next launch. Only changes to the native shell itself (icon, new native feature) need a store update.
Push notifications, offline screen, native sharing, biometric login, QR scanner, in-app purchases and deep links are single settings or one-line JavaScript calls.
Apple App Store approval guarantee – or your money back within 14 days. 96.4% of all WebViewGold apps get approved by the review teams on the first attempt.

My iOS WebView is finally approved. Thanks!!
Eight steps, no coding. Most people finish the native part in under an hour.
Deploy from the terminal: the Firebase extension's /firebase:deploy command publishes to Firebase Hosting or App Hosting, gcloud run deploy --source . ships the app to Cloud Run, or push to GitHub and deploy with Vercel or Netlify. The live URL (or your domain) is what you insert into WebViewGold. Cloud Shell web preview links (cloudshell.dev), Firebase preview channels and localhost expire. Use the live channel or your own domain. Custom domain: Connect your domain in the Firebase console (Hosting or App Hosting) or map it to the Cloud Run service, then set the DNS records. See why a custom domain before submission is worth it.
Add a privacy policy page, an account deletion option (if users can sign up), and remove builder badges or "download our app" banners. Run the free App Store readiness check on your URL: it flags mixed content, missing viewport tags, builder preview domains and other blockers in seconds.
One-time payment, free updates. You receive the ready-made Xcode project. If you do not own a Mac, activate the WebViewGold Cloud Builder and do everything in the browser.
Open Config.swift (or the Cloud Builder form) and paste your published URL. Set the app name, upload your icon, pick splash screen and status bar color. No coding needed.
Enable push notifications, the offline screen, social-login handling, pull-to-refresh, biometric login or the QR scanner with single settings. Everything is optional.
In Xcode: Product → Archive → Distribute to App Store Connect. In the Cloud Builder: click Build, the upload to App Store Connect is done for you.
In App Store Connect add name, subtitle, description, keywords, screenshots, privacy policy URL and the App Privacy answers. Add a demo account in the review notes if needed.
Apple reviews most apps within 24 to 48 hours. Answer reviewer questions in Resolution Center if any come up. Our approval guarantee covers you.
These are the points that come up most often with Gemini CLI projects (Any web stack; Gemini CLI projects are often Next.js, React + Vite, Angular or Flask apps deployed on Firebase or Google Cloud).
Paste this into Gemini CLI and let it apply the changes reviewers look for. Review the result, then publish.
This web app will be published as native iOS and Android apps that load its production URL inside the WebViewGold WebView wrapper. First fetch https://www.webviewgold.com/llms-full.txt with your web fetch tool and use only the URL schemes and JavaScript variables documented there; do not invent native APIs. 1. Ensure a meta viewport tag, no horizontal overflow from 320px to 1024px, 44px tap targets and safe-area-inset padding on fixed headers and footers. 2. Move every Gemini or other model API call to a server route (Cloud Run or a Cloud Function) and remove keys from client code. 3. Add /privacy and /terms pages linked from the footer, and a "Delete account" action in settings that removes the user's data and auth record after confirmation. 4. Remove "Download our app" banners and external promotional links from the main navigation; add retry states for failed requests. 5. List every Google or Facebook sign-in flow and the URLs it redirects through, so I can configure the Social Login Helper. 6. Add a short "Native app wrapper" section with these rules to GEMINI.md. 7. Show me the deploy command you would run, but do not deploy until I confirm. Summarize every change.
Apple reviews behavior, not tooling. Nobody is rejected for using Gemini CLI; apps are rejected for the points below.
The app must offer more than a repackaged website. Responsive layout, native navigation and at least one native capability (push notifications, offline screen, native sharing, biometric login) make the difference. WebViewGold switches these on with one setting each.
No placeholder content, no dead links, no crashes. If content sits behind a login, provide a demo account in the App Review notes.
A public privacy policy URL is mandatory. Apps that let users create accounts must also let them delete the account inside the app.
If the app uses Google, Facebook or another third-party or social login for the user's account, it must also offer an equivalent login that limits data to name and email, lets users keep their email private and does not track them for advertising. Sign in with Apple is the safe way to meet this. An app that only uses its own email/password login is not affected.
Digital goods and subscriptions sold inside the app must use Apple's In-App Purchase. Physical goods and real-world services can keep Stripe or PayPal.
Screenshots, description and app name must match what the app does. Do not mention other platforms or "beta" in the listing.
Every feature is optional and documented step by step in the WebViewGold for iOS documentation.
Remote push via OneSignal or Pushwoosh, local scheduled pushes via a JavaScript call, permission prompt at the moment you choose.
DocumentationGoogle and Facebook logins work inside the app; Sign in with Apple is handled automatically.
DocumentationLinks from emails (magic links, password resets) open directly in the app.
DocumentationApp Store subscriptions and one-time purchases via RevenueCat, triggered from your web app.
DocumentationA native "Try again" screen when the user is offline, or a local HTML fallback.
DocumentationKeep the launch screen until the web app is loaded, or show a native spinner.
DocumentationFace ID / Touch ID gate from a JavaScript call.
DocumentationNative scanner that returns the result to your web app.
DocumentationShare dialog and haptic feedback from your web app.
DocumentationHide website-only elements and inject code when loaded inside the app.
DocumentationTick these off and the review is a formality. The free readiness check verifies the technical half automatically.
Say you built a plant-care assistant with Gemini CLI: users photograph a plant, a Cloud Run route sends the photo to the Gemini API and returns care tips, and Firestore keeps each plant with its watering schedule. You deploy with /firebase:deploy to App Hosting, connect plants.yourdomain.com and wrap it with WebViewGold, so the native camera and file picker handle the photo upload. A local push scheduled with sendlocalpushmsg:// reminds users to water, and a report link under every tip covers Apple's Guideline 1.2 and Google's AI-generated content policy. The demo account in the review notes already holds three plants. Both stores approve the app, and each new deploy from the terminal reaches it without a store update.
A complete native app project, not a subscription. Everything below is included in the license and switched on with a setting.
Deploy it to a public HTTPS URL (Firebase Hosting, App Hosting, Cloud Run or any other host), insert that URL into WebViewGold for iOS, build with Xcode or the Cloud Builder and submit through App Store Connect. The Android app uses the same URL with WebViewGold for Android.
No. Since June 18, 2026, free and Google AI Pro or Ultra accounts use Antigravity CLI instead of Gemini CLI, but that only changes the agent you type into. Your code, your Firebase or Cloud Run deployment and the URL inside the store app stay the same; just check how the new tool loads your project context file.
Yes. Gemini CLI can fetch the WebViewGold llms-full.txt and wire push registration, haptics, the share sheet, QR scanning or biometric login into your web code, because the JavaScript bridge is plain URL schemes and JavaScript variables.
Not with the WebViewGold Cloud Builder: configuration, build and upload to App Store Connect happen in the browser. If you own a Mac, the Xcode project works out of the box.
Most submissions are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. First submissions and apps with logins sometimes get a question from the reviewer; answer it in Resolution Center and the review continues.
Rejections name the guideline and the reason, and you can resubmit as often as needed. WebViewGold comes with an App Store approval guarantee: if Apple rejects the app for a non-content reason, you get your money back within 14 days of purchase.
Any of them works, because WebViewGold only needs a public HTTPS URL. Pick by app type: Firebase Hosting for static and single-page apps, App Hosting for Next.js or Angular with server rendering, Cloud Run when you deploy your own container or API. Connect a custom domain either way, so you can move between them later by changing DNS instead of shipping new app builds.
Yes, with WebViewGold's Social Login Helper: add accounts.google.com to google_login_helper_triggers (iOS) and GOOGLE_LOGIN_HELPER_TRIGGERS (Android), and the Google step opens in a login window that Google accepts, then returns to your app. For the iOS app, also enable the Apple provider in Firebase Authentication to meet Guideline 4.8; WebViewGold detects Sign in with Apple automatically.
No. The app loads your published URL, so content and feature changes you publish in Gemini CLI are live in the app immediately. A new store version is only needed when the native shell changes, for example a new app icon or an added native feature.
